PTA Halloween Movie Night 2024

Halloween may have passed, but Post families gathered to watch one of the classic Halloween films, Casper, before heading into a four-day weekend. Post students and families enjoyed food and snacks from the concession stand run by parent volunteers before snuggling up with their families to watch the movie. Thank you to all our parent volunteers for helping out! The food was delicious! We hope you have a spook-tacular weekend!

What a great event! So many fantastic cars came out for our annual Trunk or Treat event. Students played games and trick-or-treated for candies. At the end of the night, parents and students grabbed a bite to eat at the taco truck. Thank you to all the parents and staff who came and decorated their cars. Our Post community had a lot of fun!

Now Enrolling TK and K Students for 24/25

Garden Grove Unified School District has opened registration for the 2024-2025 school year for families enrolling children in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten. GGUSD has expanded enrollment eligibility for Transitional Kindergarten programs to meet the needs of all families. TK provides a focus on early literacy and kindergarten-readiness skills as well as hands-on, play-based learning. Students are taught by caring and highly-qualified teachers.

Post Elementary welcomed the Year of the Dragon this Lunar New Year with a song/dance from Mrs. Nguyen and Mrs. Pham's TK/K class. After their wonderful performance, the dancers of La Quinta High school's VSA group took to the stage with their Vietnamese dance and lion dancers. Students were given the opportunity to “feed” the lions with some red envelopes to spread luck and fortune. Post staff would like to wish the Post community a happy new year. May the new year bring you happiness, luck, and health.

Our amazing second-grade team put together a Snow Day celebration for the students to participate in. Students came to school dressed in comfy, warm outfits before engaging in many fun, snow activities. Students skated in the MPR in their socks, built snowmen with toilet paper, had snowball fights with foam balls, and so much more! It was so much fun, we might make it a tradition here at Post!
